Escape the rat race for some self-indulgence at Kettering Park Hotel & Spa at my annual Papercraft Retreat. Hosted by Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator and 2019, 2023 and 2024 Artisan Design Team Member, Mikaela Titheridge of The Crafty oINK Pen.
Choose to stay overnight and you could enjoy the use of the Hotel’s onsite spa facilities for a gentle swim, steam or sauna. Book yourself some pampering time to help ease away those stresses, before relaxing in the comfort of your room.
Join me for a festive papercraft retreat where luxury meets creativity. Over two indulgent days, you’ll enjoy generous crafting time, delicious food and the company of like minded makers … all in the comfort of Kettering Park Hotel & Spa.
Saturday
Arrive and make yourself at home at your own 4ft dedicated crafting space for the event. We’ll begin with a morning craft session using a bumper festive kit and written tutorials so you can create at your own pace.
Break for a buffet lunch in a semi-private corner of the hotel’s restaurant, surrounded by rich wood panelling and a welcoming ambience.
After lunch, take a few hours to swim, unwind in the spa or simply sink into the comfort of the hotel. Take a relaxing walk around the gardens, snooze in a corner with a good book or enjoy a pot of tea and some casual crafting. Mid afternoon, we’ll gather again for a short, cosy craft session before enjoying the rest of the evening as you wish.
Sunday
We start the day with enough time for you to have a quick dip before breakfast (if you’re staying) and then into day 2 of crafting. Back to the same spot you had the previous day for an entire day to continue through the projects on offer. Lunch will be a typical Sunday Roast before an afternoon to complete what projects you’d like. The event comes to an end at 5pm.

Your Surprise Craft Kit
Because surprises are part of the magic of Christmas, your bumper festive craft kit will be full of them. Valued in excess of £130, you’ll have enough to make cards, tags and 3D projects. Each project will come with written tutorials so you can create at your own pace.
Just bring your basic tool kit, incuding Paper Trimmer, scissors, a bone folder and a selection of adhesives. A list of additional items will be sent in good time beforehand for you to bring, which could include Cut & Emboss Machine, other small tools, Inks and Stamp Sets, Dies or Punches. All will be available for borrowing if you didn’t have your own.
An Adhesives shop will be available all weekend, should you find yourself in that sticky position of having run out.
As hard as it can be to accept surprises … it’s something that my seasoned attendees love about the event and I will therefore NOT divulge what products we are using in advance.
